We are seeking an Institutional Sales Consultant to champion our relationship-driven approach in offering tailored digital asset investment products to Web3 projects, venture capital firms, investment funds, and private investors. This role requires exceptional relationship-building and sales acumen, with a primary focus on positioning our OTC investment solutions. The ideal candidate has a proven history of forging long-term client partnerships, articulating the value of specialized crypto offerings, and delivering tangible portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
Relationship Building & Pipeline Nurturing
- Develop strong, trust-based relationships with prospective and existing clients by understanding their strategic goals, risk tolerance, and investment horizons.
- Maintain a robust pipeline of high-value leads through proactive outreach, personalized follow-ups, and consistent engagement.
Product Positioning & Sales
- Present and sell our digital asset investment products—ranging from yield-focused solutions to thematic token portfolios—in a compelling, value-oriented manner.
- Tailor pitches to each client’s needs, demonstrating how our offerings address specific challenges and objectives.
Cross-Selling Market Making Solutions
- Identify and leverage opportunities to cross-sell our Market Making services, especially for clients seeking enhanced liquidity and market stability.
- Collaborate with the Market Making team to ensure seamless integration of services that drive additional value for clients.
Consultative Analysis & Recommendation
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ portfolios to uncover potential gaps and areas for optimization.
- Recommend bespoke investment approaches anchored in industry research and market insights, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
Understanding Market Liquidity & Orderbooks
- Demonstrate a good grasp of market liquidity dynamics, orderbook structures, and how these factors influence trade execution and pricing.
- Translate this expertise into actionable advice for clients, helping them navigate volatile markets and effectively deploy capital.
Strategic Deal Management
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from client discovery and proposal to negotiation, closing, and post-sale monitoring.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless, high-quality client experience and cultivate long-term loyalty.
Relationship Expansion
- Identify upselling opportunities within existing relationships, offering advanced products or additional advisory services as client needs evolve.
- Continuously expand your personal network in Web3 to attract new clients and partnership possibilities.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a client-facing investment, sales, or business development role within a brokerage, asset management firm, crypto startup, or similar environment.
- Proven success in selling investment products and meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships end-to-end, from prospecting and needs assessment to deal closure and ongoing support.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, able to convey complex concepts to both sophisticated investors and crypto newcomers.
- Must have a clear understanding of market liquidity and orderbook dynamics in the crypto space.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) for pipeline management and data-driven decision-making.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative, capable of thriving in a fast-paced, evolving market environment.
